Woman seriously injured after M-120 crash involving 4 vehicles

MUSKEGON COUNTY, MI – A woman in her 60s was seriously injured after a four-vehicle crash on the M-120 highway Thursday, according to the Muskegon County Sheriff’s Office.

The crash occurred near Riley-Thompson Road at around 10:30 a.m. March 27.


The woman who suffered serious injuries was transported to a local hospital for treatment, a sheriff’s official said.

Everyone involved in the crash was wearing a seat belt, the official said.

The crash occurred when a northbound vehicle slammed head-on into a southbound vehicle, the official said.

A section of the M-120 highway, also known as Holton Road, was closed to traffic for a time after the crash.

The agencies that responded included the Muskegon County Sheriff’s
Office, Dalton Township Fire Department and at least one ambulance.

Additional information wasn’t immediately known as details of the crash were still being sorted out. The crash remained under investigation Thursday afternoon.
