TAMPA — A 28-year-old man died after he crashed his car into a power pole early Friday, the Florida Highway Patrol reported.
Terrance Price Davis of Tampa was heading north of 56th Street approaching Harney Road at 2:33 a.m. when the Nissan Maxima he was driving left the roadway and slammed into a metal utility pole and a concrete power pole, troopers said. He was not wearing a seat belt.
Davis was taken to Tampa General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The crash was under investigation Friday morning.
