Rooi Mahamutsa Johannesburg BMW Crash: Lucky Orlando Pirates Defender …

Orlando Pirates defender Rooi Mahamutsa; who lives in Johannesburg, South Africa; miraculously escaped a horrific crash with a guardrail while driving his BMW 335i Convertible on wet pavement. The car is completely after slamming directly into the guard rail, which pierced through the vehicle from the rear end all the way up to the windshield.

According to report, Rooi Mahamutsa of the German model had entered a dangerous curve at high speed and hit next instant protective barrier on the roadside. It should be noted that the BMW 335i is powered by a 3.0 liter engine which can develop 306 hp. The car can go from zero to 62 mph in 5.3 seconds, and has electronically limited top speed of 250 km/h. No doubt, all that power on a rear-wheel-drive system is a recipe for oversteer.

We cannot stress  how lucky Orlando Pirates defender Rooi Mahamutsa was to emerge unscathed. Former Formula 1 ace Robert Kubica experienced a similar incident during  a rally event in 2011 and did not come off so lucky. The guard rail pierced through his Rally-spec Renault and caused multiple fractures to his leg, arm and  hand.
