Police appeal for witnesses after fatal motorcycle crash on A21

A MOTORCYCLIST has been killed in a crash on the A21 near Tonbridge yesterday afternoon.

The 54-year-old Surrey man was riding a Honda Fireblade motorcycle on the northbound carriageway just after the Quarry Hill junction with the A26 when he collided with a Mitsubishi lorry.

He was pronounced dead at the scene and his next of kin have been informed.

The road was closed until 11.30pm while police carried out a forensic examination of the site of the crash – which happened just after 3.50pm.
