Police: 4 injuried in NY Thruway crash in Coeymans

COEYMANS, N.Y. (AP) — New York State Police say four people have been injured in a one-vehicle crash on the Thruway south of Albany.

Troopers with the Thruway detail say the wreck happened Wednesday morning in Interstate 90′s northbound lanes between Exit 21A and Exit 22 in the town of Coeymans, 10 miles south of Albany.

Police say the vehicle overturned, causing serious injuries to four people. They’ve been taken to Albany Medical Center Hospital.

No other details, including a possible cause of the accident, have been released yet.

Troopers say the Thruway’s left lane was closed for several hours after the accident before reopening around 11 a.m. The right lane remained open after the crash.Police: 4 injuried in NY Thruway crash in Coeymans
