A 68-year-old man was killed Friday night while attempting to cross Colonial Drive, Florida Highway Patrol troopers said.
Joaquin Rodriguez, of Orlando, was pronounced dead at Florida Hospital East where he was taken after being struck.
Troopers said Rodriguez was half way across East Colonial Drive between Westfall Drive and Dean Road about 9:10 p.m. when Haley Gibbons’ Toyota Scion hit him.
