The crash of three semitrailers amid wintery weather in Eastern Oregon closed eastbound lanes of Interstate 84 for a 100-mile stretch on Thursday morning, backing up traffic and filling up truck stops.
The stretch between Pendleton and Baker City was re-opened early in the afternoon, though, after wreckage south of Baker City was cleared.
The State Transportation Department says drivers who decide to travel in the region should be prepared for hazardous winter conditions.
