Traffic is all clear after an accident on I-465 sent five motorcyclists to the hospital earlier this afternoon.
The group of bikers were in town for the MotoGP this weekend, said Indiana State Police spokesman Rich Myers, and crashed in the northbound lane after 1 p.m., near Shadeland Avenue.
Three of the motorcycles went down, sending three women and two men to Wishard and Methodist hospitals. Myers said the most serious injury was a possible broken leg, while the rest of the victims had scrapes, bruises and possibly smaller broken bones.
