Abigail Robb, 20, of Gobles, dies from injuries suffered March 4 in Stadium Drive …

OSHTEMO TOWNSHIP, MI – A Gobles woman who was critically injured earlier this month in a crash on Stadium Drive has died, Kalamazoo County sheriff’s investigators said.

Abigail Robb, 20, was pronounced dead at 2 p.m. Friday, according to a news release issued by the sheriff’s office.

Robb had been in critical condition at Bronson Methodist Hospital following the March 4 crash, which was reported at 9:03 p.m. on Stadium near the intersection of Quail Run Drive in Oshtemo Township.

Sheriff’s investigators said Robb was pulling out of a parking lot on Stadium Drive when her car was struck on its driver’s side by a westbound vehicle.

The driver of the other vehicle, a 22-year-old Kalamazoo woman, suffered an injury to her arm, investigators said.

Alcohol and drugs were not factors in the crash, sheriff’s investigators said Friday. Investigators said Robb was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.

“It was the opinion of the reconstruction investigators that not wearing a seatbelt was a significant factor in her injuries,” Undersheriff Pali Matyas said.
