4 cops among 6 hurt in city road crash

Six people, including four policemen, were injured as a bus crashed into a human hauler carrying them in the city’s Rampura area on Tuesday. The injured were identified as Assistant Sub-inspector (ASI) Ashim Kumar Biswas, constables Momin, Mobarak and Shah Alam, Ansar member Rafiqul and human hauler driver Sagor. The four cops are members of Badda Police Station. Police said the accident took place when the bus hit the vehicle carrying a patrol team of police at Rampura Bridge crossing around 3:40am, leaving the six injured. The injured people were rescued and rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital, according to UNB.
