A 16-year-old ejected from a vehicle in Lithia has been transported to a local hospital in unknown condition.
According to Hillsborough County Sheriff’s spokesperson Debbie Carter, William R. Kalicki, of Lithia, has been transported to Tampa General Hospital following a crash in the area of Fish Hawk Boulevard and Bayberry Glen Drive around 9:15 p.m. Sunday.
The single-vehicle crash occurred as Kalicki appears to have overcorrected the SUV with four 16-year-old passengers also inside the vehicle at the time.
The SUV left the roadway from the eastbound lane and flipped, ejecting Kalicki.
The passengers sustained minor injuries and we’re treated at the scene. They have not been identified.
