16 hurt after LYNX bus and car crash in Orlando

More than a dozen people were hurt Saturday night after a car and a LYNX bus crashed in Orlando.

It happened around 6:30 p.m. North Orange Avenue and Alden Road.

The Orlando Police Department said 15 people on board the bus were transported to area hospitals for minor injuries.

Police said the driver of the car was transported to the hospital in serious but stable condition.

Police closed North Orange Avenue from Magnolia Avenue to Virginia Drive while crews worked to clear the roadway.

The accident remains under investigation.
